Mariola Misiorowska Ph. D. has more than 20 years of international, interdisciplinary and multisector professional experience. She has led business development, international cooperation and development and international trade projects in several countries, including France, Germany, the United States, Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Poland, Estonia and Latvia. Also, she gained experience in international logistics and trade, working in Japanese company (sogo shosha) Marubeni.
She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Human Sciences from University of Montreal, Canada. In addition, she has a Master of Political Science from University of Quebec in Montréal, Canada and B.A. in International Commerce from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris, France.
Her international and interdisciplinary projects’ development expertise is reinforced by her networking as well as her analytical skills. She led many applied research and consulting projects while teaching corporate sociology at École des Hautes Études Commerciale in Montréal.
Over the past years, she was involved in several projects as a researcher, a trainer and an advisor to private, public and community organizations in intercultural relations and communication, interpersonal communication, diversity management, international relations as well as recruitment and integration of international workers.
She developed training modules for managers and workers dealing on a regular basis with individuals belonging to ethnocultural groups. Because of her expertise in this field, she was invited to speak at several national and international conferences in France, the USA, Canada and Poland.
Activities such as advising, assessing programs, diagnosing issues and proposing adequate solutions, developing and implementing projects give her the opportunity to demonstrate her practical experience in project development and implementation, her theoretical knowledge as well as her technical, relational, organizational and adaptability skills. Her focus is on an approach based on the businesses’ and individual’s development capabilities.
She is the author of many publications regarding contemporary societal issues which have been published in Europe and North America.
